My ISP does web hosting, why should I consider you to do the same thing?

There are a number of reasons:
Reliability - Most ISP's simply don't have the resources that our large Network Operation Centers have. Things like multiple connections to the internet backbone, where if a cable is cut somewhere traffic is routed through alternate connections automatically. Or multiple redundant backups and a host of other things.
Performance - We searched long and hard and actually put test sites on a number of server farms to find the absolute best performance for the money. All too many times what you see is not what you get when shopping for ISP's and we did the homework to make your life easier. All our sites are located directly off major internet backbones, not relayed through small T1 pipes somewhere.
Features - We are very picky about what we expect from a site, and don't expect any less for our customers. All of our plans give you total flexibility in designing your site and the tools to do it with. From being able to add and delete your own email addresses real-time online to managing mailing lists, shopping carts, Secure Server for Credit Card Orders, forms, site security (password protected areas), page counters and much much more.. These are all things included in any of our packages and that you would be hard pressed to find with most local ISP's at no additional cost.
Support - Most small business and kennel owners don't speak techno-babble, nor understand it. We work hard at ensuring that we communicate with you in plain english, something you can understand. And if the problem is something where the high level techs at the network operation centers need involvement, we talk to them to ensure speedy resolution of a problem.
Cost - Small Business aren't made of gold, we realize that. So we put together the most cost effective hosting plans that don't nickel and dime you to death. Our smallest plan which is $5.95 per month provides more storage space, bandwidth, page hits, and features than a site which typically costs $30 or more with local ISP's. Here in Colorado Springs a business website is going to cost $35 for the basic site with 20 megs of storage and it allows 500 megs of bandwidth (amount of traffic) and gives you 5 email addresses. Things like having a secure server for credit card transactions and other necessities in todays e-commerce sites all add to the $35 cost.. Out of curiosity I got a quote based on what workingdogs.com uses and it was $124 per month.. In comparison our $12 accounts provides 50 Megs of Storage, 3,000,000 megs of bandwidth, 50 email addresses, secure server for e-commerce, shopping cart, and a host of other features all controllable by you with no need of waiting on someone to enable a feature or change/add/delete an email address. And we provide this all for no additional cost. |
